Technologies of the future in the spotlight. Łukasiewicz – PIT at NetZero Energy and H2POLAND

On 8-10 April, Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology participated in NetZero Energy and H2POLAND at the Poznań International Fair. This event was entirely devoted to decarbonisation and hydrogen technologies.
Experts from Łukasiewicz – PIT presented projects implemented at the Centre for Modern Mobility – H2 Control (a complete hydrogen vehicle control system) and 2H (a prototype hydrogen locomotive with the addition of overhead power supply), as well as the offer of the Department of Certification and Inspection in the field of hydrogen technologies and rail vehicles.
The Institute shared a stand with Łukasiewicz – Institute of Electrical Engineering, Łukasiewicz – Institute of New Chemical Syntheses, Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation and the Industry Contact Point Low-Emission and Clean Energy, operating at Łukasiewicz – Warsaw Institute of Technology.
As part of the #2morrow_EnergINN conference, organised by Enea Operator and PSNC during NetZero Energy, Tomasz Markowski, Director of the Centre for Digital Transformation at Łukasiewicz – PIT, spoke. His talk was about the creation of intelligent systems combining hardware and software and the impact of automation on business scaling. The message was clear: technology is an investment, not a cost.
During the fair, a letter of intent was also signed with MPK Częstochowa regarding joint work on electric and hybrid drive systems for city buses.
